Miko Grimes, a vocal critic of the NFL, is no stranger to controversy. While her public antics may concern some, she appears to be as rational as the next lady at home.
Investigate Miko’s biography to gain a deeper understanding of her as a person!
Biographical Information – Date of Birth, Family, and College
Miko, 43, was born in 1975 and celebrates her birthday every year on June 21st.
The socialite, who is of American nationality, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Southern California with her family when she was five years old. The relocation was prompted by her mother’s desire to follow her goal of operating a restaurant in Los Angeles.
Her bio indicates that she was voted Most Athletic in high school and went on to play Division II college basketball.
Miko, who stands no taller than five feet and five inches tall, is a graduate of California State University with a BS in Kinesiology and Nutritional Science. Initially, she enrolled in order to study journalism.
Earnings
After completing her undergraduate degree, she embarked on a six-year career as a professional basketball player, which included stops in four different nations.
She eventually returned to the United States following the death of her mother from diabetes, only to abandon her successful basketball career in favor of journalism. Miko furthered her qualifications by joining CGB (Complete Game Broadcasting) in Atlanta.
Following her graduation from CGB, she worked as a sideline reporter for Morehouse College and Atlanta University, as well as co-hosting a sports-talk radio show on 790 The Zone. Miko met her future husband during this time period (more on that later).
Today, she is a renowned chef and socialite with a soaring net worth – an amount that would have expanded enormously had she not chosen to forego a lucrative career in order to spend more time with her husband, Brent Grimes, who has an estimated net worth of $8 million.
Considered Husband Gay Miko and her husband, Brent, met when the latter was still a member of the Atlanta Falcons.
Contrary to how compatible they appear today, the married couple did not immediately click.
After a month of dating, the retired journalist began to doubt her then-boyfriend Brent’s sexuality. She once stated: –
“We were going out for a month, and he wouldn’t kiss me, wouldn’t grab my ass, wouldn’t do anything guys do. I thought: It’s Atlanta; lots of guys here have beards. And I’m a tomboy. Maybe he thought I’d be cool with that.”
Miko was so taken aback by her NFL star beau that she did not even return his calls. The duo eventually reconciled and never looked back.
And in 2010, she married her boyfriend-turned-husband Brent in a small ceremony. The couple welcomed their first and only child, a son named Aiden, about a year later.
Disputes – Arrested & Beefs
Miko is undeniably her beau’s biggest supporter. Previously, she went above and above to preserve his dignity and career, which sparked a slew of controversy.
In 2015, St. Louis, Missouri native faced backlash for disparaging Ryan Tannehill, Brent’s former Miami Dolphins teammate. A year later, she suffered similar backlash for her statement about Stephen Ross’s “jew pals.”
Nothing, however, topped her life as a divisive figure more than her infamous 2015 arrest during a Dolphins game. According to the authorities, Miko was caught when she tore through a bicycle roadblock. And the cops claim that during their attempt to hold her, she headbutted one of them before kicking another.
Charges against the infant’s mother were later dropped. Antonio Lozada, then-Assistant State Attorney, reasoned that the use of excessive force by law enforcement officials was justified.
