Hunter Schafer shot to fame in 2019 after making her on-screen debut on the critically acclaimed show Euphoria. She portrayed the transsexual character, Jules Vaughn, on the show.
She is also an LGBTQ+ activist. She sued North Carolina in March 2016 following the passage of House Bill 2. The measure specified that trans people, regardless of gender identification, were obligated to use the bathroom according to their assigned sex at birth. The bill was repealed as a result of her petition.

Hunter is a transgender lady diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria in ninth grade. It is a medical disorder that occurs when an individual’s biological sex does not match their sexual identity. According to her doctor, during a 2015 interview with News Observer, the suffering associated with Gender Dysphoria can also result in suicide.
Her treatment began well before she reached puberty, with the assistance of hormone blockers.
As a result, she underwent sex-change surgery after turning 18. Deanna Adkins, an endocrinologist at Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center, oversaw her transition care.
Hunter has now fully developed into her new body. Although Hunter is a proud queer, she avoids categorizing her sexuality. “I’m closer to becoming a lesbian,” Hunter revealed to i-D in 2019. According to reports, this irresistibly attractive trans woman is single.

Hunter Schafer is the son of Katy and Mac Schafer. Her father is a pastor at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church.
