When it comes to turning a childhood hobby into a full-fledged business, few people match the bill more than Dave Kindig, star of Bitchin’ Rides.
Dave “grew up quite poor” in Salt Lake City’s Rose Park neighborhood, and without a college degree, the television personality relied only on his natural ability and passion to establish his high-profile car design business.
While he has significantly increased his net worth, he has also integrated his married life with his passion for automobile design. He married the lady who shares his professional passion, and together they founded Kindig-It Design, a car restoration firm, and a wonderful family.

26 Years Married; Daughter Married, Son Dating
Dave Kindig, the proprietor of a custom company, found the love of his life in a lady who shared his passion. He married Charity Kindig, a custom automobile maker, in 1992, and the couple just celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary.
Dave highlighted in a March 2018 interview with Kutv magazine how his wife had been a source of support and helped him maintain a sense of balance for the previous 26 years. According to him,
“I’ve always been the ‘go, go, go,’ she’s the ‘whoa, whoa, whoa. I think that partnership with my wife and I has been one of the best things that have ever happened to me.”
The pair also became parents to two children over their nearly three decades of marriage: daughter Baylee and son Drew. Their children grew up watching their parents work at the shop and eventually developed a passion for automobiles as well.
At the tender age of 16, their daughter Baylee began working at the shop as a runner and then as an office assistant. As of the present, she holds the job of Apparel, where she manages the shop’s websites and oversees the shipping department. While her daughter assists her parents in their family business, their son, Drew, graduated from high school in June 2017.
Dave offered a glimpse of their romantic time from their hectic routine on their 26th wedding anniversary via a Facebook post on 12 July 2018. He added the following caption:
“Well we made it longer than 25years, yep 26 years of lovin’ this sweet lady, and love of my life Charity! We truly have had the best life together in all aspects. Kids, careers, family and life in general. We will keep everyone posted or just check back with us in another 26 years!!! Love you Charity, and I will still follow you in to the dark.”
Since Dave celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary with his wife as the owner of Kindig-it Design, Dave’s 22-year-old daughter married her barber fiance in August 2018. Dave shared the gorgeous photo from his daughter’s wedding on Facebook in August 2018, writing:
“I would like to Congratulate my daughter Baylee and my new son in law Kaden on their recent nuptials! You guys are rockstars and your mother and I could not be happier for you!”
Not only has their daughter entered her new world with her husband, but their young son Drew has also begun dating the lovely lady.
Given that their daughter is a married lady, the Kindigs’ parents may be anticipating the arrival of their grandson. Additionally, Dave’s married life is filled with love and an adventurous ride in his car.
The married couple currently resides in a house in Salt Lake City, where they have established successful family life.
“Children’s Bitchin’ Rides” Career of a Celebrity; Net Worth in Millions
Sharing a common love with his wife, the married couple founded Kindig-it Design in Salt Lake City in 1999. Without any formal schooling or degree in automobiles, his early passion for Hot Wheels, Legos, and drawing propelled him to become the top craftsman in this field.
He brings the old rusting cars to the studio and renovates them with his own fresh design. Dave’s self-made vocation rewarded him with $400,000 in his first year of business in 2000 when he was 29 years old.
Dave’s artistic abilities are not limited to his shop; the entire world has observed his creative work, and his abilities have been further strengthened since 2014, when he was selected to star in Velocity’s show Bitchin’ Rides, which elevated him from an ordinary auto restorer to a celebrity.
The television star’s company, which was founded on 6 February 1971, employs high-quality engines, colors, and, most notably, hand-painted artwork applied with an airbrush and by hand.
His lone effort does not guarantee his subsequent job success; his coworkers are similarly committed and dedicated, as he gushed about them:
“I’ve never had a guy call in sick either. Everybody is tightly knit. We have a lot of fun here.”
As with British actor Charlie Heaton and American actress Crystal Reed, Dave, who has a net worth of $2.8 million, is no less popular than any entertainment business celebrity.
