Amanda Anisimova’s professional tennis career soared to new heights as she finished runner-up in the 2016 Junior French Open. It was a career highlight for her, as she became the first American to compete in the Junior French Open finals since 2002.

Amanda Anisimov was the daughter of Olga and the late Konstantin Anisimov. Both of her parents were born in Russia and later settled in Aventura, Florida. Since her youth, her father has served as her mentor in her professional life, coaching her until 2019.

Following Amanda’s father’s unexpected demise, she began receiving coaching from renowned tennis coach Carlos Rodriguez.
Since October 2019, he has been tutoring her and has previously worked with athletes such as Justine Henin and Li Na. In a 2019 interview with OKTennis, her coach stated,
Amanda will continue to train with Carlos through the conclusion of the Australian Open. Additionally, there is a possibility that the two will train together on a long-term basis.
