Alexis Stewart is not married at the moment. She was originally married to a lawyer called John Cuti, who represented Alexis’ mother, Martha, in legal matters.
On September 26, 1997, the two married in a judge’s chamber at the courthouse. Alexis desired a small wedding, therefore the event was attended by only five people, including her mother, Martha.
Alexis wore a grey flannel suit to the wedding. Her mother had arranged for flowers and cakes, as well as the wedding lunch, which was hosted at Jean Georges on Central Park West. The marriage, however, did not last long, as the couple split in 2003 and divorced in 2004.

Alexis worked very hard to have her children. She opted to have children at the age of 36 after her fertility had already declined. She had numerous procedures and attempted implantation three times. However, nothing worked.
Finally, she had both of her children through surrogacy. Her children have no legal father. On October 9, 2007, she acknowledged her inability to conceive a child on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
