Adam Demos‘ character Brad Simon and Sarah Shahi‘s Billie Connelly had an illicit romance in Netflix’s Sex/Life. They maintained their on-screen chemistry in real life.
When Billie encounters her ex-boyfriend, Simon, she alternates between being a respectable wife and a free-spirited woman. She can’t help but reminisce, miss her old self, and fantasize about having sexual relations with her ex. Several times, the fantasy comes true, undermining the foundations of her marriage. While the screenplay called for Adam Demos and Sarah Shahi characters to have strong chemistry onscreen, the romance blossomed behind the scenes as well.
How did they meet?
Demos and Shahi met in the makeup trailer and became friends over their shared love of music and booze. He blew her away with his personality and acting abilities, according to the mother of three.
Without a doubt, the couple is madly in love with one another. Shahi’s divorce from fellow actor ex-husband Steve Howey was finalized on January 29, 2021, and their romance progressed.
After 11 years of marriage, Shahi and Howey, who had three children – William, Violet, and Knox – divorced in April 2020. In May 2020, the actress from Fairly Legal filed for divorce, alleging irreconcilable differences.
Adam Demos and Sarah Shahi-Relationship Status
Demos was the first of the lovebirds to publicly declare their relationship, or so it appears now. He first posted a photo of himself with Shahi on Instagram, which fuelled romance suspicions.
On September 22, 2020, he shared a photo from the set with Shahi, and his fans were quick to ship the two. “I’m really loving that they’re dating in real life,” one of them wrote. Another person remarked, “Your two are such a gorgeous couple. I’m overjoyed.” In the posts that followed, their developing romance became clear. On his girlfriend’s 41st birthday, January 10, 2021, the stunning actor made their relationship Instagram official. He wished to post a photo with her “My baby, I wish you a happy birthday. Everything revolves around you.”
On her partner’s 36th birthday, Shahi also poured her heart out. She captioned his photos, referring to him as her soulmate. The Texan went on to say that she had “never loved deeper, or harder.” In a June 2021 interview with People, Shahi gushed about her connection with Demos. She expressed her admiration for him from the moment she saw him.
Adam Demos’ Next Project

The yet-untitled new comedy is about “a hard-driving LA wine-company exec who travels to an Australian sheep station, where she ends up working as a ranch hand and sparks with a gruff local,” according to Elizabeth Hackett and Hilary Galanoy.
Queensland, Australia will be the setting for the film.
