Jennie Garth has always been involved in the lives of her daughters.
Jennie Garth even made her daughter Lola’s prom dress, she recently disclosed.
On June 2, 2021, the Beverly Hills 90210 star shared an Instagram photo to show off her abilities as a seamstress to her 880,000 Instagram followers.
Garth designed her daughter’s prom gown
The photo showed the stunning 18-year-old posing with a boy who appeared to be her prom date. He went by the Instagram handle “@gabebregman” despite the fact that his real name was never revealed.
Lola was dressed to the nines in a lovely black strapless gown and the appropriate black heels. Her blond tresses were tousled, and she wore a statement necklace around her neck. Her prom ensemble would have been incomplete without her corsage, of course. Her date, on the other hand, was dressed sharply in a tuxedo with a classic white shirt and matching tapered black trousers. His appeal was enhanced by his purposely unkempt hair and green tie.
A Proud Daughter and a Proud Mother
If the photos didn’t show it, Garth was also smiling with pride in the captions next to them. She wrote about how Lola approached her and how she told her she wanted to design her prom outfit herself. Garth quickly recognized she was saying, “Mom, I want you to create my prom dress.”
Garth said that sewing was not her strong suit, but she still managed to put together what she did. She went on to say that her daughter’s desire for a handcrafted garment made her proud. She went on to say,
And being able to say, “My Mom created my dress,” made [Lola] very pleased.
Garth is the mother of three children
Garth has two children with her ex-husband Peter Facinelli, Luca, 23, and Fiona, 14, in addition to Lola. From 2001 through 2013, Garth and Facinelli were married.
Garth discussed her experience of parenting three girls as they grew up to become young adults in an interview with People, saying, “It’s definitely not for the faint of heart.” Her job as a mother had evolved from running about with her daughters all day to making more subtle gestures to keep them in the proper lane now that they were no longer children who need constant attention.
“She said,” she explained.
I’m just there to encourage them and nudge them left and right to keep them moving in the correct way.
Garth’s Mother Is “Cool”
She had understood that being done with being a parent was like reaching the horizon, even though she felt like her work as a mom was done at times. She also revealed later in the interview that her girls believed she was a “really cool” mother with whom they could all hang out.
Despite this, Garth found it quite easy to get into a fight with her children. Garth said that she could merely breathe incorrectly, and Luca, Lola, and Fiona would react as if the world had ended.
