University Career
Wayne was a four-year starter for the Miami Hurricanes football team during his time in college. His 173 career catches, which included 36 straight games with a reception, set a school record.
Only five wide receivers in school history have recorded 20 or more touchdowns in their careers, and Reggie is one of them.
Wayne set a freshmen school record for receptions in a season with 47 during the 1997 campaign. He shared a room with Ed Reed, a future safety for the Baltimore Ravens, and participated in track and field at his institution.
