Oscar De Hoya is a well-known former professional boxer in the United States who became a boxing promoter in 2002. He was well-known as a mixed martial arts (MMA) promoter in 2018, and he also boxed from 1992 to 2008.
During his career, Oscar De La Hoya won 11 world titles in six weight classes, including the lineal championship in three of them.
He is also ranked 13th on BoxRec’s list of the best boxers of all time. When he represented the United States at the 1992 Summer Olympics, he was dubbed “The Golden Boy of Boxing” by the media. He has also won gold medals on several occasions.
