Gamble’s bride confirmed the nuptials on Instagram on September 9, 2021, the morning after the big day, sharing a gorgeous photo from the wedding.
The couple appeared to be in love in the photo, with Jamison clutching a bouquet.
In his three-piece blue suit and lilac tie, the comic looked dapper. His wife donned a silver off-shoulder gown with a tulle skirt and a satin bodice.
On September 28, Gamble posted on Instagram to inform his followers about his marriage.
He shared an Instagram carousel with a lengthy comment thanking everyone who helped make the big day a success.
“It’s obviously been a trying moment for the wedding industry,” he wrote in his post, “but everyone has been so kind and beautiful that it would be mad of me not to tell you how fantastic all these individuals are.”
Later on, he expressed gratitude to his groomsmen, outfit designer, and event planner.
“And a great, massive thank you to @hedsor, who went above and beyond to make sure we could do everything in their incredible facility,” he said.
Wedding Postponement by Ed Gamble
Gamble and Jamison had reportedly been trying to get married for the past two years, according to reports. They were forced to reschedule the wedding three times owing to tight work schedules and the epidemic.
Gamble expressed his thoughts about postponing the wedding to The Express in August 2021, confessing that he had planned to marry in April 2020.
“And it just seemed very new and very raw, and having to postpone the wedding then wasn’t a great feeling,” he said.
He went on to say, “We reasoned that moving it to March 2021 was a good idea because it would be over by then. Of course, it wasn’t the case.”
The pair even contemplated delaying the wedding until January 2021 and holding a smaller celebration. However, the limits in the area where they lived at the time prevented them from carrying out their ideas. According to the comedian, rescheduling his wedding for the first time was an emotional decision because everything had been planned, and canceling it at the last minute was an inconvenient process.
The Relationship Between Ed Gamble and Charlie Jamison
In 2010, Gamble and his wife were introduced by mutual friends, who also set them up on a date. They began dating in 2011 and have been together since. They’ve appeared in public together on a few occasions over the years, but they’ve kept most of their relationship details hidden.
After seven years of dating, the comedian proposed to his future wife on his knees while on vacation in Japan in October 2018.
He reportedly requested a bespoke ring design from a jeweler friend of hers.
