Katrina Weidman, a paranormal investigator, became a fan favorite after appearing on TLC’s paranormal show, Paranormal Lockdown. Katrina and her co-host, Nick Groff, are trapped for 72 hours in a possibly haunted property.
However, what has surprised fans the most is Katrina’s personal life and dating profile.
Katrina’s frequent use of coded quotations about her love life on social media has led many admirers to wonder if the investigator is actually dating.
Mysterious Dating Life; Will I Ever Marry?
Katrina has been speaking casually about her love life. Although Katrina has hinted at having a lover on multiple occasions and even revealed his face on one occasion, she has not divulged any specifics about her enigmatic guy.
On 6 January 2016, she shared an Instagram photo of a man addressing his girlfriend as her boyfriend.
However, this was not Katrina’s first time discussing her life. She had sent a mysterious statement about her married life on Twitter nearly six years before revealing the identity of her mystery partner, which remains open to interpretation to this day.
On 24 May 2010, she tweeted,
“Got married a few months later and were married for 20 years….I guess when you know you know <3”
To be honest, it’s unclear whether the tweet was intended as a joke or a code that, when deciphered, may reveal the mysteries of time and space, as plainly, one cannot be married for 20 years if one was planning to marry after a few months.
And if Katrina is a married woman, where is her husband? Is it possible that she fed it to the demons?
Katrina said in another tweet that she had her first crush at the age of three on a kid named Marky, who she claims is now a member of a cult.
Katrina even said that while she was in the second grade, she had a boyfriend named Justin.
“My 1st was Marky when I was 3 🙂 He’s in a cult now RT @LDG22381 young love. I had my first boyfriend in second grade. His name was Justin”
Although Katrina has been mum about her lover, she implied in a tweet that he may be an Irishman.
When a fan requested that Katrina and her co-star, Nick Groff, investigate Northern Ireland for probable paranormal investigations, Katrina noted that her boyfriend had a large family there. However, she said that her family was cursed by an Irish curse. In a tweet sent on 6 January 2017, she stated,
“Would love to! My boyfriend still has a lot of family over there & my family has a curse that goes back to ireland”
With Katrina withholding so much information about her lover, one can only surmise that she has not yet reached the point in the relationship where she can openly brag about him. She is now engaged in casual dating and may take some time to decide whether the romance is worth the hassle.
Sustaining Family In An Unusual Career
Katrina, who grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, has always had her family’s backing when it comes to her paranormal vocation.
The host of Paranormal Lockdown first became interested in the paranormal during her college years, when she joined the Paranormal Research Society (PRS) and worked as a case manager, conducting eyewitness interviews.
In 2007, Katrina co-hosted the documentary drama Paranormal State, which included PRS’s efforts. In 2016, the 36-year-old paranormal investigator joined Nick Groff’s show Paranormal Lockdown.
Katrina and Nick most recently examined a Bellaire, Ohio property that was believed to be one of the most haunted in America in January 2017.
Katrina first encountered the paranormal when she was a small child of the age of four. Katrina alleges that her older sister spotted a female in her bed and assumed it was Katrina; however when she went downstairs, she discovered Katrina playing with a puzzle.
Katrina claims that her sister also saw a male figure multiple times in their first home. Additionally, she believes that her mother’s side of the family has had multiple similar situations, which has led them to embrace Katrina’s life choices.
