Kaniehtiio Horn was born on November 8, 1986, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She has acted in films such as The Wild Hunt, My Name Is Evil, and The Trotsky, and was nominated for a Gemini Award for her performance in Moccasin Flats: Redemption on television.
Horn grew up and was born in Ottawa. Kantineta Horn, her mother, is a former model and political activist. Her father is a lawyer of German and Scottish ancestry. Since 2006, she has been working in the industry. Tiio Horn is her stage name.
