On Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast, Have and Have Nots star Tyler Lepley asserts that he and producer Tyler Perry are not gay.
Lepley revealed on one of the episodes of the podcast hosted by Angela Yee, Gigi Maguire, and Lore’l that allegations about him being in a relationship with Tyler Perry began spreading as soon as the series launched in 2013.
He cited-
“I remember when I first started out, I was seeing that here and there…For whatever reason, people were associating it with my first show.”
Lepley went on to say that his friendship with Tyler Perry began when he appeared on the Tyler Perry Show.
“I came out on a Tyler Perry show, and for whatever reason, he gets a rap like that…and I know Tyler [Perry] personally, and he’s not gay. I was seen around him, and all of a sudden, ‘he’s rubbing off on me,’ and people felt like I was gay or something like that.”
Moreover, despite the LGBT allegations swirling around Lepley, he has stated that he is in a long-term relationship with his partner and the son they share.
He has not, however, revealed the identity of his girlfriend or whether he is married to a secret wife.
Movies, Net Worth 2022/2023
Tyler’s appearances in movies such as Dirty People and Baggage Claim did not gain notable popularity, but his work on TV shows is doing quite well. He has amassed a sizable salary as a result of his role in The Haves and the Have Nots.
Tyler’s confirmed net worth has yet to be revealed, but his extravagant purchases make it clear that he’s doing quite well financially.
In 2019, he paid a stunning $1.485 million for a 2,557-square-foot house. His new home, located in Sherman Oaks, California, has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, as well as a swimming pool and fitness center.
Short Tyler was born on March 24, 1987, in an immigrant family, and he is 6 feet tall (1.83 meters). His father’s ancestors come from Africa and Jamaica, while his mother, Charles Jen Dennis, comes from Italy.
In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the actor of mixed ethnicity grew up as a single child in a family with no siblings. His childhood, however, was not lonely because he had two supporting parents: his mother and stepfather. During an interview with Essence, he even expressed his gratitude to his parents, quoting-
“What I loved best about my childhood are my parents. I have the best parents in the world. They’ve always had my back.”
