Here’s All You Need To Know About Grant Hill And His Daughters!

Grant Hill, a seven-time NBA All-Star, is unquestionably a household name in the basketball world.

When Grant joined the NBA in 1994, there was still the aftermath of Michael Jordan’s retirement. He was gifted and possessed a once-in-a-generation skill set, which he used to fill Jordan’s hole. He took the flame to the top of the ranks and into basketball’s upper echelon.

Hill retired at the end of the 2012-13 season after a stellar 19-year career. Grant continues to flourish off the court, in fields ranging from sports broadcasting to real estate, as well as at home and in the community, as a retired athlete.

Tamia, his wife and the matriarch of the Hill family, was by his side every step of the way. In 1999, the couple took their first steps down the aisle. The R&B singer, who had never sang for her husband before, surprised him with a performance on their wedding day.

Tamia and Grant have two daughters, Myla Grace Hill and Lael Rose Hill, who look remarkably similar to their parents.

Daughters of Grant and Tamia

Grant’s younger daughter, Myla Grace, was born in 2002. Grant and Tamia were featured in the Oprah Winfrey Network’s Black Love, a docu-series in which couples shared their secrets to long-lasting marriages. The pair discussed Myla’s birth in this episode.

They said that, like all new parents, they had no idea how to care for an infant and had done everything a parent shouldn’t do with a child. However, albeit playfully, the former NBA star expressed his actual sentiments about when their daughter was born.

For the first three months, Myla slept on [Tamia’s] chest. I remember thinking to myself, “Man, that used to be me laying on her chest.” I was actually envious of the baby.

That happened a long time ago. Myla is now an adult, and her Instagram account is private, indicating that she is highly discreet about her life. Her mother, on the other hand, occasionally posts photos of her, and she appears to be very athletic and adventurous.

Kickboxing and water skiing are two of Myla’s favorite activities.

She is also a student assistant for the Rollins College Women’s Basketball team, and she demonstrated she has the intellect when she was named to the President’s List.

Lael Rose, Grant’s second daughter, was born in August 2007. Tamia claimed in an interview with People that Lael, unlike Myla, was difficult to give birth to, but that she was born a healthy 8 lbs., 6 oz. baby.

Lael appears to have inherited her father’s athletic abilities. She is a football player, as evidenced by her mother’s Instagram posts of her training. The Hills appear to be a very happy family!
