Is Billy Magnussen Gay?
Billy Magnussen, who starred in the film Made for Love, is in love with Meghann Fahy, who is best known for her part in the television series The Bold Type.
Despite his relationship with a stunning actress, the actor is said to be gay, and the speculation isn’t going away anytime soon. But why is Billy Magnussen surrounded by gay allegations in the first place, and how did it start?

What Could Have Been the Source of Magnussen’s Gay Rumors?
While there are a variety of explanations for the LGBT rumors around actor Magnussen, only a few make sense. One explanation is because the native of Woodhaven, New York, had his Broadway debut in Terrence McNally’s The Ritz in 2007. The drama’s plot revolved around a gay bathhouse in Manhattan.
Because it was Magnussen’s first time on stage, some wondered if the gay subject had anything to do with his personal life. Furthermore, it offered supporters reason to wonder if he was gay.
The show wasn’t the only thing that sparked the homosexual allegations. The other reason is that until 2017, Magnussen rarely spoke about his personal life in the public. As a result, internet users assumed he was hiding in the closet.
In March 2015, the Into the Woods star was also interviewed by Out magazine. Because the magazine focuses on LGBTQ news and celebrities, many people assumed Magnussen was gay as well.

Since 2011, Magnussen and Fahy have known each other.
Magnussen shared a photo of himself kissing his fiancée Fahy’s neck on Twitter on July 25, 2017. It was the actor’s first time mentioning his girlfriend in a post. The two actors were also reported to be dating in the tweet.
Fahy also uploaded a love-filled photo of the couple on Instagram a year later, on August 26, 2018, saying, “We went to tha beach.” Slowly but steadily, the couple began to appear together at public events and on social media posts. In January 2020, they were seen at the Golden Globes After Party at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
Even now, the two are still dating and providing support to one another. And, as their connection deepens, viewers’ theories regarding Magnussen’s sexuality may become obsolete.
On the set of the 2011 Hallmark film The Lost Valentine, Magnussen and Fahy had met for the first time. Both of them played important roles in the film, with the actor portraying Neil Thomas and Fahy portraying Young Caroline.
