Alexa Jeong is the daughter of Tran Ho (mother) and Ken Jeong (father). I arranged all of my family members into one frame for Christmas. Ken, her father, captioned this shot with the phrase “heart emoticon……”

Parents

Her father, Ken Jeong, is a well-known Korean-American actor, comedian, producer, writer, television personality, and physician. His hilarious timing has made him famous.

Ken is most recognized for his role in the acclaimed ‘Hangover Film Series.’ He also appeared in ‘Crazy Rich Asians,’ a critically lauded film.

Ken was born in Michigan to South Korean immigrant parents. He was born and reared in the state of North Carolina. His family has placed a strong importance on education since he was a child.

He was also a medical student in Louisiana, where he was interested in the theater, so he was particularly attentive. After graduating from Ochsner Medical Center, Ken moved to Los Angeles and worked as a physician at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Woodland Hills for several years.

He then frequented The Improv and The Laugh Factory Clubs. That’s how he gets his first televised appearances. He abandoned his degree in 2006 to pursue a full-time acting career.

His wife was likewise supportive of his decision to leave medicine. Tran ho, her mother, is a medical doctor. ‘We had the BEST birthday ever……’ her father captioned this shot on the occasion of her mother’s birthday.

Parents are enamored with the story.

Tran, her mother, is a Vietnamese-American who grew up in the United States. Tran’s family is also brimming with doctors.

Ken and Tran met at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Woodland Hills, where they both worked. That’s how they got along and dated for two years before getting married.

The couple exchanged wedding vows in September of 2004. There isn’t a lot of information on their wedding ceremony or any other related details. ‘Always, thank you…,’ Ken captioned a beautiful snapshot with her Mom (Tran) and Dad (Ken) dressed up. Zooey and Alexa Jeong, the couple’s gorgeous twin daughters, were born after their marriage in 2007.

The couple was pleased to welcome two beautiful angels into their life. Tran was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after their twins were born, which was both upsetting and worrisome for their family.

Tran underwent nearly sixteen rounds of chemotherapy and a mastectomy. But, by God’s grace, she was fully recovered in 2010 with the help of radiation therapy.

Her husband and family, on the other hand, were at her side throughout the sessions, encouraging her to stay positive and cheerful. Calabasas, California is now home to the family.

Ken Jo is heartbroken about his wife’s cancer diagnosis.

Tran’s doctor informed her she had a 23% chance of surviving after she was diagnosed with cancer. Ken had left his doctor’s job to pursue a career in comedy at the time.

Because he was unemployed and had recently given birth to twins, the news saddened him. It was the most trying time in the comedian’s career.

Ken became well-known for his role as Leslie Chow in the film The Hangover while Tran was in therapy. Todd Philips, the film’s director, and his co-star, Bradley Cooper, were the only ones who knew what was going on in Ken’s life. His wife was cancer-free three years later, and Ken’s career had come to an end.

Ellen went to Ken Jeong seeking medicine for her wounded neck.

Ellen requested Ken Jeong, who used to be a doctor, for some medicine for her damaged neck; he gave her a couple of recommendations and asked her how she was feeling.

Ellen admitted to getting steroid injections, muscle relaxants, and a Toradol shot. After the injections, she takes two Advil and two Tylenol. Ken thought it was useful because his wife, a doctor, said that combining Advil and Tylenol was as beneficial as certain medications.

When questioned about the Emmys, Ken responded that he enjoys spending time with his wife watching them. Alexa and Zooey Jeong, his twelve-year-old twin daughters, were born in 2019.

Ellen inquired as to whether his girls enjoy his acting and find him entertaining; Ken responded that they do not. Ken’s 50th birthday was marked by a karaoke party hosted by his wife at the ‘Brass Monkey’ in downtown Los Angeles.

He continued, “We leased it for a night with a huge group of friends and family and had a terrific time.” Ellen then enquired about the upcoming second season of his show, ‘The Masked Singer,’ as well as any changes that might be made this season.
