Julian Paul Assange, an Australian computer programmer, is most known for being the editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks, a website that publishes information that frequently discloses secret and classified information about governments and officials. He is well-known throughout the world for making public appearances.
Julian Assange began hacking under the alias “Mendax” when he first started his career. He co-founded the hacker collective International Subversives with “Trax” and “Prime Suspect,” along with two other members. Additionally, Julian was thought to be associated with the WANK (Worms Against Nuclear Killers), but he refuted this.
Later, he was discovered breaking into the Nortel Melbourn master terminal, and in 1994, he was charged with 31 charges of hacking and other offenses. He was released after posting a $2,100 good behavior bond from the fund.
Years later, Julian founded WikiLeaks, where he disseminated classified media, news leaks, and secret information obtained from unnamed sources.
Julian garnered numerous honors and accolades over the course of his career, including the 2009 Amnesty International Media Award and the 2010 Reader’s Choice Award for TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year.
Julian was detained on April 11 in London before being extradited to the US to stand trial for allegedly planning to hack into the Pentagon’s computer network in 2010. His citizenship was suspended by the Ecuadorian government, which made his detention possible. He was hauled from the embassy and first detained for failing to appear in court after losing an appeal against his extradition to Sweden, where he was being sought on two separate allegations of sexual assault.
He was found guilty of failing to appear in court by the judge after hearing the case.
He is currently charged with federal conspiracy in the US in connection with one of the biggest government secret disclosures. However, the UK will make the final decision about Julian’s extradition. He currently faces up to five years in jail in the US if found guilty of the computer intrusion conspiracy charges.
In the course of his profession, Julian has accumulated a $400K net worth.
Dating Girlfriend Or Married To Wife?
Julian had a relationship with Teresa while he was a teenager. It is unclear whether he was married to her or not because some reports say he was while others say it was just an affair. When Teresa was just 17 years old, the couple welcomed their son Daniel.
His relationship was irreparably damaged once the cops searched him. While Teresa escaped with the child, he was accused of various computer hacking-related felonies. Following their divorce from Teresa, the couple fought for custody of their son Daniel for nine years, up until 1999.
The mother ultimately bore responsibility for the resolution of the legal dispute about Daniel. Additionally, Daniel, Julian’s software designer son, has been hiding in Australia.
Julian also has at least four other children, the youngest of whom is claimed to be seven years old, in addition to Daniel. His partner or potential wife, though, is still a mystery, just like his unidentified children.
Additionally, there were speculations that he had a love relationship with Pamela Anderson, a former Baywatch actress. However, Pamela said that Julian was nothing more than a buddy in an interview with Pagesix.
