2004 saw Salman Al-Faraj begin his professional career at the Al-Youth Hilal’s academy. He spent almost four years on the youthful team. In 2015, he assisted his team in winning the Saudi Super Cup after being promoted to the senior squad in 2008. Six goals have been scored in 113 games in which he has played.
Al-Faraj was a member of the team that won the 2015 King Cup of Champions, the Saudi Crown Prince Cup, the Saudi Professional League in 2010, 2011, and 2017. (2012, 2013, 2016). He was bound to the team until June 30, 2021, and the agreement was later extended.
