America’s Got Talent (AGT)
America’s Got Talent (AGT): The Champions, a worldwide televised American talent competition that was the first broadcast by NBC, included Marcelito Pomoy as a contestant. In the second season of the show, Marcelito participated as a contestant (initially aired on 6th January 2020). He has paved his way to the reality show’s grand finale thanks to his talent as a singer.
Meanwhile, Marcelito sang a duet of the Andrea Bocelli classic “Con Te Partiro” (Time to Say Goodbye) during the semi-final, which aired on February 3, 2020. He even dazzled the judges and the audience by switching between a higher, more feminine pitch and a deep, make-like vocal range. Judge Howie Mandell reacted to his performances by saying;
“the best chance of winning the entire contest. The woman in you was just as good as she was the last time, but you as the man increased your game. She attempted to keep up with you, but she was unable to. This is the semifinal.
Likewise, Heidi Klum and Alesha Dixon, two other judges, praised him for his voice: If you go to the final, according to Simon Cowell, “I think you’ve got to take a bigger risk because the surprise is done.”
The season’s finale will air on February 10, 2020.
