In Islington, London, on June 12, 1962, Eamonn Walker was born to a Grenadian father and a Trinidadian mother. He spent his first nine years there, where he also fell deeply in love with dance. Later, he relocated to Trinidad, where he spent six months living with his parents while finishing his education at the Hungerford School.
He started his social work studies at the University of North London after graduating from high school. He joined the “Explosive Dance Theatre Company” at the time because his desire to become a professional dancer was blossoming. He was forced to stop dancing due to an abscess in his calf muscle, thus his luck was not on his side. Eamonn sought to pursue his career in social studies after he was told that he would never be able to dance again but ultimately decided to pursue acting as a vocation. He relocated to the US and enrolled in the New York Film Academy to pursue his education.
