She was born in North Dakota, in the United States, on November 21, 1954. She is one of Hubert Brentrup and Mildred Narum’s eleven children. Patricia is of Caucasian ancestry and is an American citizen.
Early Patrica’s life was spent in the Midwest. She completed her high school education at Hettinger Country High School in New England.
Unfortunately, her parents are no longer with us. Her mother passed away in 2011, and her father Hubert died in 2003.
Patricia was from a large family. Patricia was one of eleven children her parents welcomed together. They had four girls, Janice, Renee, Cindy, and Patricia, and seven boys, Ronald, Richard, Neil, Barry, Paul, Greg, and Jerome Bentrup.
Unfortunately, Jerome Brentrup (1942–1945), Ron L. Brentrup (1943–2015), Janice Brentrup (1948–2012), and Paul Brentrup have all passed away (1961-2012).
Patricia relocated to New York City once she began dating Kit. She lived in the city for many years of her life.

In 1974, the former couple began dating. It appears that North Dakota is where the couple initially met. Before relocating to New York, they initially resided in the state. Although Patricia and Kit never wed, their children always believed their mother was still married.
In addition, throughout their 20-year marriage, they had seven children: Shane (born in 1976), Dakota (born in 1979), Macaulay (born in 1980), Kieran (born in 1984), Christian (born in 1987), and Rory (born 1989).
Their oldest daughter Dakota, who was the oldest of the seven children, unfortunately, died. In December 2008, she was killed in an automobile accident. Authorities said Dakota fell off a curb while walking in west side LA and died as a result.
Patricia’s children all began their careers as child actors.
The Culkin family all worked in the entertainment industry. Only a few of the seven, though, had a long-lasting effect on the media. Among them is Macaulay.
After making two consecutive appearances in the Home Alone films, AD Macaulay gained international fame. Millions of dollars were made from the movie, and Macaulay was hailed as an up-and-coming actor.
Along with Macaulay, other well-known actors include Shane, Christian, Rory, and Kieran. Lords of Chaos, Signs and Mean Creek are among Rory’s filmography credits, while Kieran co-starred with his brother in Home Alone and made an appearance in the Succession television series.
In addition to raising the seven biological children, Patricia also raised Kit’s daughter Jennifer Adamson as her child. Jennifer sadly died at the ripe old age of 29. She was Kit and Adeena VanWagnoer’s lone child.
Patricia and Kit engaged in a bitter custody dispute over their children.
Patricia and Kit decided to end their ten-year partnership in March 1995. But neither of them nor anybody else anticipated the outcome of the breakup. The two started having problems when they parted ways.
With her son Chris, Patricia Bentrup is now Patricia.
Instead of fighting over who would get custody of their children, they fought over child support. According to numerous newspapers, the couple’s quest for custody was motivated more by a desire for the money their star child was earning than by a simple love for their children. When they were still married, the couple used to divide a 15% commission from Macaulay’s earnings.
After a few months, the Culkins siblings finally made peace with their mother, despite the judge’s injunction to inculcate suitable discipline and decent study habits in her children.

You might be surprised to learn that Patricia is a contented wife. Yes, she has been living a happy married life with Mart D. Cox for the past few years. Although little is known about their romance, including how and when they first met, we do know that they are residents of Billings, Montana.
Additionally, her husband Mart is a Billings-based remodeling expert. Construction, design, retrofitting, installation, and molding installation are among the services he provides.
She is Kara Cox’s stepmother, albeit the couple does not have any children together. Kara is shared by Mart and his former partner. Kit, Patricia’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her seven children, is currently dating someone else. Jeanette Kozlowski and he have been dating for about 20 years.
